All Jester had said was that he wanted to be mayor and a vote to lynch me, he added in the middle part later which made my subsequent vote look highly foolish and/or evil. All he had to do was make a new post to cast his accusations, such as they are.

Simple editing of posts shouldn't result in lynching... I edited a post a couple rounds ago because I didn't know it was against the rules so Jester could be being honest about his mistake. lol you guys are just out for blood...makes me think people on the train to kill Jester are baddies
Pointing fingers and starting lynch trains is common trait of baddies. Also I find it odd that you won't reveal the person who you spied. You can simply say, "I spied Damdred, he's not a bad guy". See it's not that hard, you don't give away his role and there's enough of a chance of him being a villager so as to not raise the suspicion of the bad guys.

Then before you get someone killed by misaction or inactio, vote dole for lynch, tie the votes for 5x5(is it?) and let mayor sort it out...

I agree with Dole that there is no point in naming who he spied on but that train of votes on Jester is making me highly suspicious of Dole now at the same time since he instigated it by calling Jester a cheater.
