This is stupid. There arent even any speaking just shit music...
In addition, over 400,000 Israeli credit card numbers and thousands of Israeli social security numbers have been released in the previous 3 weeks. Attacks are said to continue until the recognition of a Palestinian state or until there are equal rights for non-Israelis in Israel
Strangely interesting. It's a tough decision really, IMO a leap hour is too much, but there are no other nice round numbers in between besides a minute but that's rather pointless compared to the other two.
International Earth Rotation Service o.o I did not know this existed, and the name just makes me laugh.
I think a minute would be fine though, if they're only adding a second every few years, then with a minute, they could go a couple decades before a change. The companies saying it's a hassle to change things wouldn't have to worry about it very much at all. Or maybe what they should do is leap it forward 2 minutes, and have us be slightly ahead, and let the earth catch up and pass us again, then you'd only have to do it half as often.
I've been following this for a bit. Supposedly a judge in Georgia is about to put the smack down on Obama. If he doesn't show up in person tomorrow with the proper paperwork to prove he is a natural born citizen then he will not be on the Georgia ballot come election time. It sounds so crazy but Thursday is supposed to be the day. Let's see what happens. This site has live feeds for the event and everything.
Except if he's not put on the ballot in Georgia. I think if that happens though Obama should order his secret service to kidnap this guy to Hawaii to personally see the document. Seriously, does Obama have to go door to door with the goddamned thing?
Here's one for you MG. What's interesting to me here (besides the legal status of virtual goods) is that this seems to be treated as just a theft case, rather than assault with a deadly weapon and battery, which would be the far more pressing concern in my mind. Or maybe that part of it just didn't make the news?
Something tells me they don't fully understand the implications of what they were doing, a Runescape item isn't worth jail/community service imo.
That being said, if you go to work to pay for a toy, you are investing time into said toy. If you play online for hours and hours to get an item, you are still investing time. I wouldn't call it theft until there is assault in real life involved, then it becomes kinda the same thing :-p
Indeed, the article is poorly worded in terms of what the accused was convicted of. Assault should have definitely been prioritized ahead of theft, but then theft of virtual goods is relatively rare and makes for a more interesting headline.
Edit: Found this, seems it is just theft and not assault -_-

I wonder why nobody doesn't just steal them...? And no Ixta that's not my kleptomania talking, it's a legitimate question :P
