IF the multis hadn't of grabbed iv down to 0 when they did his wls would of gotten back and he would of had 20-30k tanks on 200-500 land....and that would of been where his "suiciding" was put into play. Let me say the best paty of surviving a KT is when you are down to 100 land and people are scrambling.. doing everything they can to kill you.... and then you pull off a 800 land grab and it demoralizes the enemy somewhat. I know. I have done it many times. The multis taking that aspect of the war away is the only reason the war went on so long.

i don't want to diminish fails and such b/c they are VERY important...but to me it is MUCH harder to finish off a good KT than it is to prime a KT for the first break (hell we didn't do a single fail during that war in order to get first break...most of the time we didn't even get kds powerless before first break)
the whole idea of minimizing those "last" 10-20wls is crazy...especially when a hard fighting KT makes you widdle them down OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER...people like pie can get down to 100 land a dozen times and chew up over 200wls which demoralizes the other alliance/stunts their growth b/c they have to keep hitting for shit land/stalls moving on to killing other KTs...plus the last point is those multis also prevented kingdoms like ivar from suiciding 100k probes on the next sabo KT and opening up our next WL KT sooner...it is much bigger than you all were saying that were diminishing it and why those of us that have spoken up keep shaking our heads thinking "u gotta be kidding me"
It's unfair on the KT because they may be trying to survive as long as possible and relishing the fact that the enemy can't kill them. It's also unfair on decent players within the enemy alliance that multi's are helping them finish a KT and tarnishes the hard genuine work that a lot of them may have done as part of a healthy, fun and honorable war.

Just to add or embellish, those last 500 land are all about survival mode, an art only practiced and mastered by those who have been KTed many times. The multis took away the possibility of using the knowledge of how to survive the last miles of a KT.

That's because your breakers won't will lose land in comparison and your actives have failed on the target anyways. That leaves small people who are either active and failed anyways or ones that sometimes cannot break the kt because the land may be appropriate but the defense is high (4900 tanks on 100 land remaining). If a breaker or active uses wl to grab 10 per land then that is wl that are not being used for important breaks or fails. WL availability is one of the most important resources in war.
This economic issue of optimizing war resources is exploited by people who use different anti kt methods. One strat involves sending out a huge load of tanks in order for them to return when you are at super low land, making you a very poor choice to use a WL on. Another involves saving goons and scientists until the very end and disbanding them into soldiers for a similar effect.
Having multis clean up the targets frees resources in te form of wls, especially the ones that break. You get the same effect from a rank 5 3 million net worth kd using 4 wls to grab 40 land as a 50k net worth multi using 4 wl. This is actually quite an advantage.
With the declining population of sk the last couple times I did the WG thing I would usually PK the WL grab targets that were that low, which optimized resources greatly. One alliance I ran for war purposes just could not pk and we strictly did this and it worked exceptionally well because of all the saved WL we had.
Finally, there are well known specific anti-kt strays that maximize survival at low land. Many of them are rendered worthless because multis "blitz" a low kd instantly killing them instead of slowly killing them naturally.
