EA was a good example of how Shadowlands does in modern sk (low playerbase). Nobody can come close to matching the income of a probe boosted planet. Its already the best strategy left on SK.

Was there ever a better strat? i mean besides RR what else is or ever has been better besides ones involving bugs like aid abuse etc?
Primary Advantage: soldiers cost half Secondary advantage: 10% of population can be drafted into soldiers. Disadvantage: additional 75 platinum to soldiers cost. Other:Starts with Start with Dragoons, Laser Dragoons, Fighters, and Tactical Fighters Researched.

Advantage: The probes flourish in the cold climate meaning that probe productivity increases by 50%
Advantage: The cold weather slows down the attacking force and delays their return time by 20%
Disadvantage: The cold weather isn't a popular place to live so population decreased by 20% etc
Other: Tanks cost 800 because of their high supply/demand due to their ability to easily navigate the tough terrain

@lynog Its definitely undervalued :-p i explain to players every round whove played for ages why probe income will boost their game.

At some point you gotta mass probes though.
