  • Hmmm... advantages: -25% Explore costs/+30% change probe fail
    Disadvantage: +50% Power Consumption
    Other: ....

  • Advantages: Reduces Enemy Return times 25%/-10% military losses on defence
    Disadvantage: +15% military losses on attack

    you can't just give them advantages that can be improved even further with sector states.

    would need something like

    Advantage: The probes flourish in the cold climate meaning that probe productivity increases by 50%

    Advantage: The cold weather slows down the attacking force and delays their return time by 20%

    Disadvantage: The cold weather isn't a popular place to live so population decreased by 20% etc

    Other: Tanks cost 800 because of their high supply/demand due to their ability to easily navigate the tough terrain

    thoughts?

    could be the next probe farm PT. Just sacrifices shielding probes for more probes in general.

    +50% probes = game over for those not using that PT playing probe income
  • EA was a good example of how Shadowlands does in modern sk (low playerbase).
    Nobody can come close to matching the income of a probe boosted planet. Its already the best strategy left on SK.

    Was there ever a better strat? i mean besides RR what else is or ever has been better besides ones involving bugs like aid abuse etc?

  • Thats cos EA is tiny. On SK, the rob pool is much larger, giving SL an exponentially larger growth.

    @lynog Its definitely undervalued :-p i explain to players every round whove played for ages why probe income will boost their game.

    Primary Advantage: -15% Training Costs

    Secondary Advantage: Double casualties on both sides when you Attack only. Winning or losing doesn't matter.

    Disadvantage: +15% Attack Time

    Other: Start with SCOUTER and Laser Dragoons researched

    Secondary advantage: 10% of population can be drafted into soldiers.
    Disadvantage: additional 75 platinum to soldiers cost.
    Other:Starts with Start with Dragoons, Laser Dragoons, Fighters, and Tactical Fighters Researched.

    this would be a good pt.

  • your PT is basically another MT

    soldiers cost 75 less but everything else costs 75 more

    therefore both adv and disadv cancel each other out
