Going to London for two months

  • I agree, pos. Things were good even 10 years ago but with the recent influx of all of these Europeans who just refuse to mix (And speak a dozen or so different languages), things have gone downhill. Living in Walthamstow meant living in a very busy area anyway since I live near where the Victoria line starts but it was fine. The neighbourhood and probably the wider community got along. However, if you ever see the place now, you'll see Romanian, German, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Italian and Arab people everywhere. A lot of the English, Asian and Black neighbours have gone and moved outside London. It's a shame that such a great area has gone downhill because of these people. And what's worse is that they all close themselves off and keep to themselves. They rarely mix. I'm not sure what they're doing in Great Britain if they prefer their own kind anyway, they should go back to where they came from then.

And Zeality, all that does is make me realize that I'm too old to still be playing this game. :p
  • i live in Harrow, north west london, and it is quite like spot the white man....but still its a ethnically diverse area and nothing wrong with it, people are just as friendly (if not more than the whites up north).
  • Today I learned SkyDragon is at least 30yrs old.

  • How is Streatham?
  • Not gonna lie, it is not great there, its right next to Norwood and Brixton which are both quite bad, in the day it would be fine though. Just make sure you stick to areas that are public and well known, if you do just walk off and end up on an estate it will get nasty.

  • In August 2012:

There was 876 reports of crime in Streatham.
There was 1293 reports of crime in Walthamstow.

Sounds like a safer place to me, lol. But could do worse:

There was 4687 reports of crime in Mayfair. (In Central London) :)
  • What are those numbers compared to their respective population and land mass.
  • Only problem with that as well is not all the crimes get reported in the rougher areas, no one likes a grass.
  • What are those numbers compared to their respective population and land mass.
Not sure about that, but to give some consistency to the numbers, those figures are the number of reported crimes within a radius of 1 mile from the centre of said location.
  • Numbers dont mean much. A lot of the crime are petty crap such as Oxford street has tons of muggings but nothing violent whereas Peckham etc you're gonna die if you fit in with the local community, ie, you look swarthy
