I was curious about how much my European counterparts are paying in taxes? I am currently paying in 33% for this year.

  • EU sucking you dry eh?
  • till €19.645 37%
    between 19.645 and 55.991 42%
    above 55.991 52%
oh dear god, your even more screwed then we are! 33% is outrageous imo, that's 3 months that you don't get paid. Augh... #politics
  • if i get sick i get paid though :P
if i lose my job i get paid

and some other usefull things ;)
    but yeh its high XD

    (ps, 33% of 12 months = 4 months not paid ;)
you work 4 months a year for absolutly nothing :D
lol, yeah Its like 3 an a half months of not being paid, REVOLUTION!! If we get fired/quit we can file for unemployment w/ 50/50 chance of getting it, but other then that, you're fucked lol. We have sick pay so long as the company offers it, and most don't. I also hear you guys get vacation time as well.
  • where do you live to get taxed that much bot?
  • My god bot you guys get bent over :/

I'm not sure what Canadian brackets are set at, but I pay ~40%. Seems to hover from 30-40.
  • Any of you ever stop to think what you could do what all of that?? I could afford a brand new car
