LD = 110/ 77 per defense point

But... You also have to take into consideration one last thing...

LT: 1 Rax (75) * (4) Def Pts = 300 Def Pts.
LD: 1 Rax (75) * (5) Def Pts = 375 Def Pts.

That's a lot of additional Rax you have to pay for to have the additional LT's to have equal defense as you get larger. I'm not going to go through all the math to figure out what land would be your break even point, but I think you get the picture.
