Arguments like that from either side left or right, are only there to drag in the people who have no brain to think through what they believe. There were some very odd sweeping statements with little to no support. The most shameful thing is not just that the message is skewed and invalid, but that both sides are guilty of doing it!! Anyone using such a video to explain their ideological beliefs is the sheep, I see people all the time holding ill thought out views simply because the message seemed to come their way in a 'strong' way or because it's how the people around them think! Just because your parents or friends think one way doesn't mean you have to. Meh, what am I thinking bringing a reasoned response in here... I know it's not welcome ;-)

Interesting video. As far as the environmental concerns go in regards to energy this video is fairly accurate. We need cheep energy and although switching to cleaner and more efficient sources of energy are a good thing oil is our number one energy resource and without it we will fail. Many people fail to realize that even those clean energy resources we use run on oil themselves, our whole economy runs on oil and it will be many years before we can afford to make a major switch toward a cleaner energy resource.
EDIT: Let me make this clear I do believe in global warming and I do love the environment but when push comes to shove our country needs oil and our economy takes precedence over environmental concerns because I sure as hell do not want this country to fail.

I agree I cannot stand corporations with all their money influencing and corrupting our government through the use of funding superpacs which in turn fund our politicians. Our politicians are bought by the big corporations and it is ridiculous that we allow this shit to go on but it is because all of our damn lawmakers are bought by these corporations so they will not make laws that hinder them. We need to create laws which outlaw the idea of corporations funding politicians so that their corrupt money cannot as easily influence our government.
