Why Other Games?

Why are games like Other Games more popular than SK? I believe that a game has to inherently have an end state, thusly OG isnt even a game as per my definition. It has a lot of the same mechanics, a little different look, and goes on forever. You can literally build your empire indefinetly, yah, you can be the larges but what then? Why would thousands of people rather "play" OG than SK?

Probably because they have active moderation teams and owners/admins that know what they're doing, advertise, market and promote their game?

I played for 2 days, its almost like a micro transaction game, but it isnt. it just takes longer and longer to make upgrades. Youre kingdom can grow forever it seems.
