Civ 5 Mods

I'm quite stupid in the art of downloading mods, if any of you have done this before, my appreciation will be much obliged. I've tried to download a Game of Thrones Mod for Civ 5 but I literally have no idea how to play it. Anyone know how? it's for a mac.

    you have to go through the mods menu and start the game that way

    can you elaborate on a "mods menu" or Explain like I was 5

    so you've opened the game, and you are on the main menu:

    choose mods (option three)
    hit accept
    click the checkmark for game of thrones mod (and get ranged scouts when you can, btw, great mod)
    click next
    (it will configure the game data for a bit)
    then it will pull up a screen that will tell you which mods are in use
    click "single player"
    "set up game"
    and its the game set up you are used to after that, you want your map type to be random, i think, so that the mod will work properly

    that is for windows, not mac, i dont know if its different, but it should be close
