Colonel Denise Lind ruled the 25-year-old Army private first class was guilty of five espionage charges, among many others, for the largest unauthorized release of classified U.S. data in the nation's history.
Yes but they found him guilty of a litany of other charges, which was my point. That he didn't get a few extras tacked on doesn't deserve the headline "FOUND NOT GUILTY".

It was done on purpose, I would estimate that 60% of americans only read the title of an article, then form an opinion off that.
(Who's Bradley Manning?)
Bradley Manning Leaked some 700,000 Government files to a website called wikileaks: http://wikileaks.org/ --some of the good stuff was removed by the government.
Him and Julian Assange showed the world that the US governments intervention in the middle east was all based on lies, that the government is doing very very dangerous things etc. etc. Pretty much, anyone who likes to say we walk around with tin foil hats, or we're full of shit, this is one of our main arsenals.
Julian Assange last I heard had asylum in Ecuador with terrible living conditions for helping Manning share this info via the internet.
This is the same thing that Edward Snowden tried to do for us, and we *the american people* let all three of them become targets instead of heros to the USA.
You know he lives in the Ecuadorian Embassy, right? In London? His horrible living conditions are a flat larger than about 30% of most Londoners dwellings. The only problem is he can't leave.

With all do respect, Housing in London is remarkably small, at least compared to American homes. Still, it bothers me that these men have risked everything including their lives to do something which should have changed the face of the world since sept. 11th, which was to tell everyone that their entire world is basically a lie. I don't know if things will change anymore, and in that respect, us americans deserve everything that we have coming to us, we are Germany all over again, and no one knows, and the ones that do aren't enough to make a difference.
Comments
Of course he wasn't going to get Aiding the Enemy. He's still going to be in prison for like 50 years or more.
