When you select to stay in the same sector, the server resets and you are moved to sector 1:5. Also when you are scrolling on the view sector page, it skips sector 1:5, you have to type it in to view the sector from that page.

The bigger problem is that you still don't get your planet type's starting research.
ie: Multiple Terrain doesn't get any of it's research when you SiS.
