hm, medical corruption bothers me more than seeing it in the political or business worlds. pharmaceuticals are a business of course, but when you're dealing directly with people's health, it seems like it should put more pressure on them to not commit these kinds of fraud. If nothing else, they could need medicines for these problems themselves one day. And doctors actually take an oath to help people, so not only are they breaking that, they are also directly trading people's lives for madonna tickets. And since a lot of people really trust their doctors, and you're interacting with them one on one, it seems like a very personal kind of 'screw you, I want my perks!'

This is very interesting stuff. While it's not the first artificial organ i've seen it's certainly the most interesting way i've seen such processes studied. Though i don't see the point in trying to give it some intelligence considering the original purpose of the creation was to mimic the way hearts work...
