I have not, but it seems interesting. Each player is given a role, and has to keep it a secret, or can good team share with other good and evil team share with evil?
Not everyone gets a role. There is a population of villagers in 99% of games.
It depends on the mods. The evil team is usually in contact and some good people may be in contact. The mods determine the rules. Reading the mods first post is essential to the game because the rules are set there.
i think everyone should create a forum multi and run ww games with all "strangers"
I think I suggested this at one point. My only catch for people behaving badly was that they would have to inform the mod who they are by sending a message to them letting them know who they are...would keep it fair.
I'd have to agree. Looking at how my game went, I think I made the good team a little too strong. And the unique ability I thought would be the coolest ended up not getting used at all really :P
i think the balancing part is what makes this tough. its so hard to figure out how to make it so that one side isnt much more powerful than the others when you break away from the standard meta
I'm probably the only one who liked Walls game judging by the comments. Lot of SK folk like to math it out, and I liked how randomly crap walls' was, the best part was how we all lost and the NPC bunnies won.

I loved wall's game. I was one of the bad guys and it was a blast and really tense!
so i just realized, nobody ever false flags a role in these games
like everyone claims "oh i'm town", but nobody is ever like "hey, i'm the seer and so and so is evil"
without that being a factor, we are going to keep having unbalanced games with roles. lets be honest, did you really not believe cory and i when we flagged this game? like we have discussions about it, but never a full on "i'm lynching you because i call bullshit on your role" kind of thing

"You're all aboard a ship for a 7 days cruise around the world."
3-4 mafia
1 vigilante
1 doctor
limit everyone with no mayor, and no seer, make it about discussions and trends
also, I suggest getting people like Prime, Shining, and Tyr to play.

My hunch is that when PMs became commonplace, false claiming was a death sentence.
